Student Suffers Potential Traumatic Brain Injury in Abilene Scooter Accident
Intersections are driving environments that people encounter on a daily basis. Drivers of vehicles large and small must make the same correct decisions in these driving environments so that serious crashes and injuries can be avoided. Unfortunately, something went very wrong on Friday when a student at Abilene Christian University suffered what could be a traumatic brain injury in an Abilene car accident that occurred at an intersection.
Different groups including insurance companies and auto clubs put together lists of leading causes of car accidents on a regular basis, and one of the causes of crashes that is always near the top is distracted driving. This is a problem that has seemingly become even more serious in recent years, and for the third year in a row April has been declared Distracted Driving Awareness Month throughout the United States.
